The light scent mixes basil notes with lavender, which helps to keep the floral notes green and crisp and not too heady. Vanilla comes up from the base to give the fragrance a touch of youth and innocence. This is a scent that is good for everyday use for even the youngest of wearers. It was launched in 2014 and has weak longevity and a moderate sillage.

Hollister, the younger, surf-inspired sibling of Abercrombie & Fitch, was started in 2000 as a clothing retailer with a California vibe. The brand, that is primarily marketed to older teens, branched out into accessories and then into perfumes and colognes in 2011. The surf theme extends beyond the clothing to the stores themselves, which are decorated with beach features, such as small boardwalks, and refer to male customers as “Dudes” and female customers as “Bettys.”
