Intrusion Perfume by Oscar De La Renta, Intrusion was released in 2002. It is a flowery and fruity scent combined with warmer notes, making it light and fresh enough for the day but also suitable for the evening.
The perfume opens with top notes that consist of Sicilian bergamot, mandarin orange, neroli, grapefruit and star anise. The middle notes comprise gardenia, peony, lily and water jasmine and the base notes are musk, patchouli and amber.
Oscar de la Renta was born in the Dominican Republic in 1932. His early interest in art led him to Madrid where he studied painting. His love of fashion saw him designing clothing for Spain’s elite and his work took him to Paris and New York. After making his name creating clothing for other designers, he released his own label in 1965. Since then the award-winning designer has become a household name creating fragrances, beauty products, clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories.
