Opening with bergamot, elemi and lavender, this scent offers a delightful introduction with its warm, spicy, soft, crisp and resinous tones. Next, it blends coffee, oud and styrax for an earthy, smoky and almost vanilla-like fragrant heart. A timeless trio of patchouli, amber and sandalwood close this scent and give it staying power.

French perfumer Girard Ghislain created Histoires De Parfums in 2000. With a mission to create complex and nuanced scents to evoke emotion and tell stories, the brand debuted with three classics: Blanc Violette, Noir Patchouli and 1740 Marquis de Sade. To date, the luxury French label has released over 45 fragrances in men’s, women’s and unisex versions.
