This fragrance offers a crisp, citrusy scent inspired by the hills located in Xalapa, Mexico.
The top notes include marjoram, thyme, clementine, mandarin, bergamot and lemon. The heart consists of ginger and petit grain. It finishes with a base of musk, orris root, woods and amber.

Rodrigo Flores-Roux is the perfumer responsible for designing Artisan Pure cologne. Daniel Henney is an actor and model who served as the face for the marketing campaign. Upon release, the first 100 bottles were signed by John Varvatos himself.
