xKenneth Cole RSVP by Kenneth Cole, A 2007 release from Kenneth Cole, RSVP is a woody musk cologne for men that captures a sensual aroma ideal for nighttime wear.
The fragrance opens with top notes of pepper, grapefruit, and lavender. After relaxing into middle notes of cedar, iris, and orchid, the scent fills out with base notes of vetiver, patchouli, cashmere wood, and sandalwood. Rsvp is an exclusive composition from perfumer Frank Voelkl.
Kenneth Cole Rsvp is part a of decades-old legacy of innovation and resourcefulness. Mr. Cole began his company in 1982 in New York City, with the ambition to open a shoe store. He did not have the resources to open a shopfront and did not believe the alternative – renting a room to sell shoes from the Hilton – would be profitable. Instead parked a 40-foot trailer in Midtown Manhattan and launched his first shoe show, which sold out of stock in just 2 days. Thirty years, his clothing and shoe line branched into perfumes, with Kenneth Cole for Men and Kenneth Cole for Women releasing n 2002.
