The French glassware design house of Lalique was founded in 1885. Jeweler and artist René Lalique headed the company with the help of businessman and perfumer François Coty. Together, the two men developed beautifully designed glassware for perfumes, a feat unheard of at a time when plain glass vials were standard for perfume. Today the brand has over 60 perfumes in its collection, with creation dates for available fragrances ranging from 1992 to 2018.
