Nautica Cologne by Nautica, Nautica is a woody, masculine fragrance that incorporates fresh spicy tones and citrusy aromas. Launched in 1992, the top notes include coriander, bold cinnamon, cypress, lime, clary sage, bergamot, lemon, neroli, tarragon and aldehydes. Florals fill the heart with jasmine, rose, geranium, caraway and cyclamen. Warm, earthy notes round out the base including patchouli, musk, cedar, amber, sandalwood and oakmoss.

Nautica was launched in 1983 by fashion designer David Chu. This American company initially specialized in men’s wear and ultimately expanded its product line to include women’s wear, home goods, furniture, children’s clothing and more. The company has embraced a brand based on an adventurous and sporty American lifestyle.

The company took its name from the Latin word “nauticus” meaning “ship.” The logo features a spinnaker sail, and many of the company’s products show nautical images and themes. The first fragrance was launched by the company in 1992, and many scents featured aquatic tones and packaging.
