The top notes of osmanthus, artemisia, and raspberry are irresistibly feminine. The heavily floral middle notes of lily-of-the-valley and rose provide a strong heart to the fragrance. The dry down settles into a deep woody scent with base notes of oud, patchouli, amber, sandalwood, vanilla, musk, and castoreum. The complexity of the dry down lends an air of mystery to the fragrance. This perfume has a moderate sillage and is very long-lasting. Patricia de Nicolai is the nose for this scent launched in 2013.
Patricia de Nicolai founded her namesake company, Parfums de Nicolai, in Paris in 1989. She is a member of the illustrious Guerlain family and has clearly inherited their creativity and talent. Her perfume house has released 61 perfumes, many created in conjunction with nose Francois Robert.
