Oud Stars Al-Khatt Perfume by Xerjoff, A distinctive gem of the Oud Stars Collection, Xerjoff Oud Stars Al-Khatt perfume is dedicated to the recreation of ancient Arabic oud perfumery.

Launched in 2012, it integrates the notes in a somewhat less linear fashion that’s missing hard transitions between the notes. This masterwork creates a delightful and darkly mysterious blend that still retains a hint of playfulness. The opening is a sexy mix of sweet, honeyed jasmine Sambac and fresh, juicy bergamot orange. Almost immediately, a dirty and strikingly animalic version of Laotian oud adds an instant burst of passion and sex appeal. Suddenly, the creamy sweetness of vanilla retains the passion but not the sharp animal magnetism. Smooth, soft cashmeran joins in along with a wet, herbal oakmoss and sensual benzoin. The impact is a sweet Oriental that’s certainly feminine yet with undertones of masculine notes. Reminiscent of the Arabic Golden Age tale of One Thousand and One Nights.
