Rosamor by Oscar De La Renta, Rosamor is a floral, rosy fragrance designed for women. The brilliant nose behind the scent is Beatrice Piquet, who created it in the year 2004.
It opens with floral notes of freesia and lily-of-the-valley, a hint of Italian mandarin giving it a tangy twist. More flowery aromas can be found at the heart where a strong tone of rose acts as the main scent, complimented by a bouquet of gardenia, heliotrope, Indian tuberose and ylang ylang. The base features notes of tonka bean, sandalwood and musk, finishing off with the robust scent of tobacco.
Oscar De La Renta was born in 1932 in the Dominican Republic and headed to the United States in 1963 after several years of experience working for fashion houses in Spain and France. He launched his first scent in 1977 and his label continues to produce fragrances for men and women while working in collaboration with L'Oreal.
