It begins with a spicy layer of saffron, cinnamon, cardamom, pepper and armoise. The sharp spice is softened by middle notes of lavender and gurjum which rest on dark, earthy base notes of cedarwood, vetiver, gaiac wood, amber and sandalwood. Adorned with a black cap and small rectangular label, the rounded, transparent perfume bottle is simple compared to the complex fragrance that it contains.
