Yardley Chrome by Yardley London, Yardley Chrome was released in 2013 and was created by the nose of Christian Provenzano.
The top notes of apple and bergamot are both fresh and fruits. The middle notes bring in Yardley’s distinctive lavender, as well as the sweet notes of rose and spicy coriander. At the base, the earthy fresh notes of moss mingle with musk and amber to anchor the scent and give it depth. The sillage is moderate to enormous, but its longevity is only moderate, so it’s great scent to put on for a special occasion.
Yardley London has been around since the 1770 when it started making soap and perfume that often have a lavender component to them. Fast forward to present day, the brand still favors lavender, but over time has found and cultivated what it considers to be the best smelling species of lavender in the world, Lavandula Augustifolia. Today the brand still sells soaps and perfumes, but also makes a range of products for bath and body.
