Banana Republic Modern by Banana Republic for Men
Banana Republic Modern Cologne by Banana Republic, Released in 2014 with the women’s fragrance of the same name, Banana Republic Modern is a woody and aromatic cologne that takes olfactory senses on a luxurious adventure.
The top notes are fresh and aquatic with accords of seaweed, juniper, grapefruit and water. Middle notes include tamarind and cyclamen. For a smoky close, the base notes are incense, patchouli, vetiver, birch wood and musk.
Mel and Patricia Ziegler started Banana Republic in 1978. The store was originally a fun, travel-themed experience complete with exotic decorations of plants and Jeeps. The successful brand was soon acquired by The Gap, Inc. and expanded its line to include more unique and high-end products.
The first fragrance was successfully launched in 1995 and was a unisex scent. The brand continues to produce fragrances and has over 30 original perfumes and colognes in its collection. These scents are also included in candles. The brand now has more than 600 stores worldwide.
