Top notes of red galbanum, seasonal green grass, aldehydes and various spices create an intoxicating, exotic aroma that awakens the senses almost immediately. Heart notes of soft rose, night-blooming jasmine, orris root, vetiver and heady patchouli enhance the perfume with a floral, earthy atmosphere. Finally, base notes of oakmoss, civet, white musk, warm amber and touches of rich leather complete the fragrance for a well-balanced, vigorous elixir that’s perfect for day wear.

Released into the world in 1970, this sparkling fresh scent is a creation of Prince Matchabelli, an American-born perfume house led by the Italian ambassador, Georges, and his wife, Norina. They opened their fragrance house after emigrating to the United States in 1926.
