Demeter Holy Water Perfume by Demeter, Introduced in 2009, Demeter Holy Water is a unisex fragrance for men and women.

Ideal for spring and summer day wear, this scent has fragrance notes of ozone and oak that is intended to remind wearers of being inside a European church, specifically that of water in an old porcelain container. The scent is contained in a square glass flacon with a silver cap and a white label bearing a purple banner that holds the fragrance name.

Demeter is an American niche perfume house with headquarters in New York and manufacturing facilities in Pennsylvania, where most the brand’s products are handmade or manufactured. The exception is the brand’s soap, which is made in Italy.

Founders Christopher Brosius and Christopher Gable were moved by the Greek goddess of harvest, fertility, and agriculture when they named their perfume brand after her. The brand’s flagship product is its single note fragrances, of which there are more than 300 in its library.
