Larmes Du Desert Perfume by Atelier Des Ors, Launched in 2015 by Atelier des Ors, Larmes Du Desert is an homage to the Middle East, the birthplace of perfumery. The name of this scent translates as “tears of the desert,” and the elements of this fragrance evoke the stark beauty of the desert environment.
Top notes of cedarwood, patchouli and gaiacwood develop a rich spiciness complemented by base notes of citrus, benzoin and amber. The presence of myrrh further deepens the complexity of this scent, leaving an impression spirituality and sensuousness. Flakes of 24k gold floating in the bottle further enhance the mystique of this unique perfume.
Atelier des Ors was founded by Jean-Philippe Clermont, and released its first perfumes in 2015. The perfume house strives to unite the best of the past with a distinct, modern sensibility, creating fragrances that are distinctive and timeless. This perfume was created by Marie Salamagne, whose work has been featured at Yves St. Laurent, Nina Ricci, Roberto Cavalli and Salvatore Ferragamo.
